Privacy policy

This policy explains what personal data we process when you visit redcoilgames.com or sign up for our newsletter, why, and what rights you have. We keep it short because we collect very little: there are no ads and no cookies, and the only statistics we keep are anonymous visit counts.

Who is responsible

The controller of your personal data is IMPERIUM GALAKTYCZNIE Krzysztof Wąsowicz, Gdańsk, Poland, which runs Red Coil Games. For anything about your data, write to contact@redcoilgames.com.

Visiting the website

The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. When you open a page, your browser sends Cloudflare the usual technical request data (IP address, requested address, time, browser and device type, referring page). Cloudflare needs it to deliver the page and protect it against attacks.

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits. It works without cookies or similar storage on your device and does not identify or follow individual visitors; we only see aggregated figures such as page views, referring sites, countries and browser types.

Fonts and images are served from our own domain, so opening the site does not send anything to Google or other font or image providers.

Legal basis: our legitimate interest in running a secure website and knowing how many people visit it (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Newsletter

If you sign up for updates, we process your email address to send you development news and launch announcements about Tairum. We use Kit (ConvertKit LLC, USA) to store the list and send the emails. After you sign up, Kit sends a confirmation email and you are only added once you confirm. Kit records when you signed up and confirmed, and whether our emails are opened and which links are clicked, so we can see what is useful to readers.

You can unsubscribe at any time with the link in every email, or by writing to us. We keep your address until you unsubscribe; after that Kit keeps only what it needs to make sure you are not emailed again.

Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time.

Emailing us

If you write to us (for example to contact@redcoilgames.com), we use your address and message to reply and keep the conversation as long as it is needed for that.

Legal basis: our legitimate interest in answering you (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Who receives the data

Both US providers process data for us under data processing agreements. Transfers to the USA rely on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses. We do not sell personal data or share it with anyone else.

Links to other sites

Links to Steam, Discord, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X, Bluesky and Facebook take you to services that have their own privacy policies. Nothing is sent to them until you follow a link.

Cookies

This site does not set cookies and does not store anything on your device, so there is no cookie banner.

Your rights

You can ask us for access to your data, to correct or delete it, to restrict its processing, and to receive it in a portable format. You can object to processing based on our legitimate interest and withdraw consent at any time without affecting what happened before. Write to contact@redcoilgames.com; we answer within one month.

You can also complain to the Polish data protection authority, the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych), ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warszawa, uodo.gov.pl, or to the authority where you live.

We make no automated decisions about you. Providing your email is voluntary; without it we just can't send you the newsletter. The newsletter is not meant for children under 16.

If what we do with data changes, we update this page and the date at the top.
